I am building a self-hosted IT helpdesk system to gain hands-on experience with ticketing platforms and internal support tooling.

The system is deployed using Docker containerization and uses Peppermint, an open-source helpdesk and issue-tracking application, as the user-facing platform.

Key focus areas include:

  • Deploying and managing a containerized helpdesk environment using Docker
  • Using Peppermint to create, track, and manage support tickets
  • Gaining familiarity with basic IT helpdesk workflows and administration
