About Me
Glad to see you here! I’m an aspiring defensive security professional passionate about hands-on security projects.
Experienced in building security labs and deploying tools like Wazuh, I’m motivated by exploring new methods of protection, with the long-term goal of becoming a SOC Analyst.
My Journey
Born and raised in Portugal, I’ve been tech-savvy for as long as I can remember.
From a young age, I found myself helping friends, family, and colleagues solve IT problems.
Navigating software, fixing corrupted system files, troubleshooting slow computers, managing complex installations, writing Python scripts, or resolving a variety of application errors.
My Take-away From It
These experiences have helped me develop a “second sense” for IT, improve my workflow, and strengthen my ability to research and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Current Focus
More recently, I’ve become deeply interested in blue teaming, learning the fundamentals of operating systems, networking, attack surfaces, and defensive strategies.
I thrive when exploring how technologies work and implementing them for my own labs, analyzing potential vulnerabilities, and designing strategies to secure systems.
I’m drawn to challenging projects that push me to experiment and find solutions when things aren’t always clear-cut.
My journey is fueled by curiosity and the desire to continually expand my skills while learning to protect myself and others in the virtual world.
Right Now
I’m looking forward to applying this knowledge as I work toward a career in defensive security, starting with IT helpdesk roles where I can leverage my troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
